Chris Potter is an extraordinary saxophonist and composer who has worked with some of the greatest musicians on the planet, including Dave Holland, John Scofield, Herbie Hancock, Steely Dan, Kenny Wheeler, Jim Hall, and Paul Motian.
Chris plays on several grammy-winning albums, including Dave Holland's 'What Goes Around' and Steely Dan's platinum, album-of-the-year-winning release, 'Two Against Nature' on which chris plays the saxophone solos. In 2005, Chris was named tenor saxophonist of the year by the Jazz Journalists Association, also winning Downbeat Magazine's polls for talent deserving wider recognition, jazz artist of the year, and tenor saxophonist of the year.
