Our studios are clean, soundproofed and very well equipped. We are the only rehearsal studio in the city with exclusively acoustic pianos, including several grand pianos, in all of our rooms. These pianos are regularly maintained by a team of technicians. Our clientele includes well known names in the world of Jazz, Classical music and Theater but the studios are not solely for the famous. Many serious, talented, but yet unknown musicians, singers, and teachers as well as amateurs and hobbyists utilize Michiko Studios. The atmosphere is comfortable and private, allowing those who use them to get down to serious work.
Michiko Rehearsal Studios is run by professional musicians who understand the importance of a proper rehearsal and practice environment. You will find the staff to be very friendly and more than happy to accommodate your needs. Whether you're just in town for a few days and need some practice time, or getting ready for a record date, Michiko Rehearsal Studios is the place for you.
The location is very attractive: a very short walk to the Times Square Theater district, and only a little further to Carnegie Hall, the Metropolitan Opera and the New York Philharmonic. The cost is very reasonable. Rates start at $10.00 an hour for individual practice (even cheaper if you purchase a prepaid 10 hour card) and $20.00 an hour for a session (Studio B). We have 24 hour booking availability, seven days a week. Due to the popularity of Michiko Studios we advise reserving time in advance.
