The lacquer is in almost perfect condition on this Mark VI alto from 1972.
Surprisingly bright sound for a non silver-plated sax. This gorgeous specimen of an alto, feels almost like a new horn with its tight mechanics, and is everything you would expect from a Mark VI.
Kept in very good condition throughout its life, but definitely not a "closet-horn." It's full, reverberating sound is symbolic of what the Mark VI sounds like!!!
