Vintage Woodwind & Co - Dukoff Charlie Ventura model ( aka Stubby) .095 Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece

This very special Woodwind and Co. mouthpiece is an old rebranding example of the glorius Dukoff Stubby, it is in fact the exact same blank.

Many great cats were playing with this blank, including the early Steve Grossman.

Its very large chamber paired with a moderate to low rolled over baffle provides a very dense, full , rich and spread sound leaning towards the darker end of the spectrum. Definitely a classy old school sound!

It is at the same time very easy to play, free blowing with a quick response.

It’s labeled 5* but it’s tip opening is equal  to a 6* in the Otto Link tenor mouthpiece scale as it measures .095’’

The mouthpiece is Original, with a medium facing length.
