This is an original Soloist from the 50s that has never been worked on, and has been beautifully maintained. 

Originally a C**, Brian Powell opened it to about a 7 on the Meyer scale. Brian Powell is world renowned for his mouthpiece work. Most certainly worth trying out!

Totally mint! this is a museum piece for sure! 

This wonderful piece has definitely been well played but also well maintained! A .075 tip opening is the equivalent of a Meyer 6.

Some people have told me that they have had "no great" experiences with short shanks for tenor... I can say though, that no one has ever said that after Tommy...

A great example of a soloist for soprano. Obviously used, but still in its original condition.

There are a few dings on the rails, but fortunately they're on the inside and will not affect the playability at all. This is the first run of Soloists.
