WOW! An original, untouched vintage Sterling Silver Dukoff D8!
We acquired this mouthpiece from its long time owner, John Purcell himself, who worked directly with David Sanborn to produce Dukoff copies ( Saxworks), he may have even possibly gotten this same mouthpiece from David Sanborn himself.
Sterling silver Dukoffs are extremely rare. Normally you'd find them in ''silverite'', which is basically an alloy of tin, which is much softer and cheaper than sterling silver.
The sound of these sterling silver ones is much better than the regular ones, there is no comparison, this one has more power and a more refined tone quality suitable for any modern music genre.
